Job Summary
The Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) is a vital member of our integrated care team. You will provide direct counseling

and case management services to patients participating in our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). Your role involves individual, group, and family counseling, as well as coordinating care with other healthcare providers and community resources.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions for patients with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide case management services, including coordinating care with other healthcare providers and community resources.
  • Educate patients about substance use disorders, treatment options, and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
  • Adhere to all JHC policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in a human services field.
  • Certified as a Substance Use Disorder Professional in good standing with the State of Washington.
  • Two years of experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of human behavior and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
  • Understanding of the social and cultural context of patients with substance use disorders.
  • Experience using electronic health records (EHRs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License.

MMU Dispensing Nurse II- RN

Jamestown Healing Clinic is seeking a dedicated and qualified Dispensing Nurse II to join our team on a temporary basis. This role involves working 4 days per week, with 3 days on our Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) and 1 day in the clinic. The position requires 10-hour days and provides high-quality patient care and medication dispensing services. This temporary position requires a commitment of at least 8 to 10 months, with the potential for extension based on program needs.

Jamestown Healing Clinic (JHC) is seeking MMU Dispensing Nurse
Position Summary

As a Dispensing Nurse II-RN, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services to rural and underserved communities in Clallam County, Washington. You will be responsible for administering medications as ordered by the Medical Provider, ensuring accurate medication record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Methadone, Buprenorphine/Naloxone, or Monotherapy Buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex) as prescribed by the Medical Director and providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all medication received and dispensed in compliance with DEA, FDA, and State Board of Pharmacy requirements.
  • Safeguard medication stock and ensure secure storage.
  • Conduct breath alcohol testing, urine specimen collection and processing, and accurately document results.
  • Measure and record patients’ vital signs, perform nursing-level physical assessments, and provide wound care as needed.
  • Educate patients on proper medication usage and its potential effects.
  • Assess patient physical conditions and report changes to medical providers.
  • Update patient prescriptions and medications in electronic health records.
  • Chart patient encounters and incidents accurately, maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and supplies, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Follow all JHC policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA and safety protocols.
  • Travel to local and regional sites as required, providing services at mobile unit locations and the primary clinic site in Sequim, WA.
  • Complete all required forms and documentation related to medication administration and other clinical procedures.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients and multidisciplinary team members in both clinical and mobile unit settings.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current unrestricted RN license in Washington State.
  • 3 years of experience in a clinic setting.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and their impact on individuals, families, and communities.
  • Phlebotomy skills and experience in urine specimen collection.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds, understanding trauma and recovery dynamics.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems; experience with Epic and/or Methasoft preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License, with the ability to travel locally and regionally.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to complete employer-provided training upon hire.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to healthcare and patient care.
